Miranda ESG, new division of Miranda Partners

Miranda Partners, a leading Mexican Corporate Communication and Research consultancy, is delighted to announce the creation of a new division, Miranda ESG, to be run by Marimar Torreblanca, the former UBS Senior Equity Analyst in Mexico. Miranda ESG will advise companies and investors on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues in Mexico.

Companies and investors are increasingly factoring in ESG issues in their decision-making processes so they can fulfill different obligations with regulators, investors, employees, customers and broader society. Miranda Partners’ new division will aim to help its clients face these new challenges and complexities, applying the latest ESG global research and trends, adapted to the Mexican marketplace.

In addition, Marimar will also support Miranda IR, the division focused on Investor Relations consulting in Mexico. In this role, Marimar will focus on Investor Relation consulting in the real estate, construction, and infrastructure sectors, among other areas. She will also collaborate with other areas of Miranda Partners, such as Media & PR, Digital & Design, Global Research, Ratings Advisory, and Business Development.

Marimar has a degree in Economics with honors from ITAM in Mexico City, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and obtained a Masters in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University in New York. In addition, she has more than 15 years of experience in financial analysis, specializing for the past 10 years in equity research in the real estate, infrastructure and housing sector. She has published numerous landmark reports on corporate governance in the Mexican FIBRA sector.
