Based mainly in Europe, José Luis will focus on supporting Mexican companies with their communication needs in Europe and assisting European companies with their communication strategies in Mexico, as well as supporting existing and new Miranda Mexico-based clients in their communication needs.
José Luis Leyva brings over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, and strategic advisory. He previously served as Head of Corporate Communications at Grupo Bimbo, where he managed the global reputation of one of the world’s largest food companies. His achievements include driving impactful media relations campaigns, overseeing crisis management strategies, and advancing sustainability initiatives to enhance the company’s international brand image.
With a digital-first approach, José Luis has led the analysis, design, and execution of communication strategies in complex and global environments.
Earlier in his career, José Luis held the position of Head of Corporate Communications at the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico’s national electricity company, where he managed critical communication initiatives across the organization. Before transitioning to corporate communications, he was a senior editor at Reforma, one of Mexico’s leading newspapers, covering business and financial topics.
