10 sustainability stories from 2024 that made me happy

As we approach the close of the year, I am excited to continue our tradition of highlighting 10 sustainability stories from 2024 that made me happy. This curated list aims to inspire positivity and celebrate some of the remarkable advancements achieved over the past year.

2024 marked significant milestones in sustainability. The UK set a historic precedent as the first G7 nation to completely phase out coal power, paving the way for a cleaner energy future. Meanwhile, global collaboration advanced efforts to improve labor conditions and strengthen supply chain resilience. Governance remained a critical focus for companies, demonstrating its importance in driving long-term value. Despite the political pushback that sustainability faced earlier in 2024, we are encouraged to see enterprises steadfast in their commitment to advancing agendas and meeting their goals.

At Miranda ESG, we’ve had the privilege of supporting our long-standing clients as they advance in their sustainability journeys, while also welcoming new partners embarking on theirs. Each project has been an opportunity for growth and collaboration, enriching our expertise and reinforcing our commitment to driving positive change.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to my dedicated team, whose unwavering hard work and commitment have been the cornerstone of Miranda ESG’s success. Your passion for driving positive change continues to inspire me every day, and I am incredibly grateful for each one of you. Together, we’ve made a meaningful impact, and I look forward to what we will achieve in the future.
