Lilian Ochoa

Partner

Lilian Ochoa has 15 years of experience in financial analysis, specializing in equity research for various sectors including finance, automotive, construction, petrochemical and energy. Lilian was recognized as the No. 1 Analyst out of 70 in Mexico by Inversionista magazine. She served as Senior Vice President of Advisory and M&A at Actinver, within its investment banking. Lilian is a professor of the diploma: “Evaluation of investment projects: Advanced valuation and measurement of value creation” at ITAM. Lilian Ochoa holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the ITESM, and a Corporate Finance Diploma from the UANL.

Damian Fraser

Damian founded Miranda Partners in 2018; he was Mexico Country Manager of UBS from 2001 to 2018, where he oversaw the 180-person local Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Equity businesses. Previously he ran UBS’s Latin American Equity division, worked as Head of UBS LatAm Equity Research, and was “Number One” ranked LatAm “Institutional Investor” equity analyst for Strategy for multiple years. Prior to banking, Damian was a journalist at The Economist (economics correspondent), and at the Financial Times (Mexico bureau chief). He holds a CFA, an MPA from Harvard University, and BA from Oxford University in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE).

Luis Anaya

Luis has +13 years of experience in Finance throughout LATAM in FMCG, Spirits & Wines, E-commerce, Fintech and Startups. He developed in Commercial Finance roles for Unilever, The Hershey’s company and Bacardi, after that he created the Financial Planning area for Mercado Libre and most recently, he created and ran the Finance department for the E-commerce aggregator Valoreo. Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), with a minor in Internacional Financial Economics from the University of British Columbia (UBC), he is a SAP certified consultant in FI-CO-SD and holds an AMIB Level 3 certification by the BMV. Luis was also a Professor in Economics and Finance at the Universidad Mexicana.

Víctor M. Herrera

Until 2017, Víctor was the CEO for Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services’ Mexico City office, where he was responsible for overseeing all the national and international activities of the CDMX office related to rating a broad spectrum of debt issuers in numerous disciplines including: corporate, financial institutions, insurance companies, mutual funds and structured financing. He joined Standard & Poor’s in 1992 as corporate and financial institutions analyst.
