Al encuestar a 8,594 empleados y l\u00edderes de la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como a 907 l\u00edderes de alto nivel, el estudio arroj\u00f3 informaci\u00f3n interesante para las empresas que est\u00e1n decidiendo c\u00f3mo dar forma y llevar sus estrategias de sostenibilidad al siguiente nivel con el apoyo de toda su organizaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aqu\u00ed hay algunos fragmentos que nos parecieron muy interesantes, pero recomendamos leer el reporte completo si estos temas son relevantes para tu organizaci\u00f3n en este momento:<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cC-suite executives and employees agree on the big issues that most affect the future of society: climate change, pollution and global pandemics. But employees also want to see action on the work-level challenges that affect them.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cC-suite leaders say they prioritize environmental issues and are taking concerted action on climate change. Employees are skeptical that this is really the case.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2026when it comes to the most important issues affecting individual companies and workplaces. C-suite leaders remain focused on the big, macro picture. Meanwhile, employees zero in on challenges closer to home.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cInterestingly, employees are much less likely than C-suite leaders to prioritize Diversity and Inclusion (D&amp;I) as an issue to solve. D&amp;I does, however, overlap with other specific issues they have emphasized, such as equal pay for equal work and equal opportunities for advancement. The key implication here for leaders is that the more D&amp;I initiatives connect into practical issues, like pay and advancement, the better.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cConnect the dots between macro and micro issues to explain how organizational practices and priorities support employee outcomes.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cjust 43% of C-suite executives say their organization has a sustainability strategy that has been acted on and clearly communicated\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2026only 51% say their CEO is personally committed to advancing sustainability and that organizational progress has been made. Employees are even more skeptical (26%).\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2026while 73% of C-suite leaders say that their organizations place the same importance on sustainability as they do on profits, just 48% of employees say the same.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn our study, the greatest barriers to embedding sustainability across business strategy are slow-changing company culture and organizational complexity, followed by a lack of drive from senior leadership and a lack of organizational investment.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLeaders should not treat sustainability as a matter of brand and reputation management or as an addendum to their core business\u2014for instance, by simply launching a small line of sustainable products or services. Sustainability must be a critical strand of business strategy.\u201d<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este estudio mostr\u00f3 una discrepancia general entre lo que los directivos creen que est\u00e1n haciendo las empresas en t\u00e9rminos de sostenibilidad y lo que los empleados y los ejecutivos de la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n ven en su d\u00eda a d\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia de desarrollar y empoderar a los l\u00edderes de la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n como una de las formas m\u00e1s claras de lograr un cambio de mentalidad y cultura corporativa. Y tambi\u00e9n\u00a0creo que este estudio ayuda a visualizar por qu\u00e9 hay herramientas de acercamiento a grupos de inter\u00e9s, como por ejemplo hacer y analizar correctamente un an\u00e1lisis de materialidad cada 2 o 3 a\u00f1os, que ayudan a entender lo que los colaboradores est\u00e1n realmente pensando. Con esto, las organizaciones pueden evitar guiar la estrategia ESG \u00fanicamente por la imposici\u00f3n del equipo directivo.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Espero que esto te haya parecido interesante.
