Creo que es una lectura interesante para cualquier persona que quiera entender c\u00f3mo hacer que el camino de la sostenibilidad de una organizaci\u00f3n tenga mayores probabilidades de \u00e9xito.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Algunas citas clave del reporte:<\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCommitment to sustainability is at an all-time high. Ninety-two per cent of CEOs believe integration of sustainability will be important to the future success of their business. However, there is a gap between rhetoric and reality. Only 48 per cent of CEOs say they are implementing sustainability in their operations, and only 21 per cent of CEOs actually feel that business is currently playing a critical role in achieving the SDGs.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAnalyzing close to 4,000 role specifications across industries and the globe, we found that in 2019 while 15 per cent of executive and non-executive role specifications made reference to sustainability (up from 9 per cent in 2015) in only 4 per cent of executive and nonexecutive role specifications was sustainability experience or mindset an actual requirement.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhen we look at the career experiences of these pioneering leaders that are sitting CEOs and compare them to a control group of CEOs from Global Fortune 500 companies\u2026<ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026were 3 times more likely than the control group to have worked on two or more continents (45 per cent vs 16 per cent).<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026 for those not based in the Global South, 1 in 3 had worked there compared to only 1 in 10 of the control group.<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026were also more than twice as likely to have had significant career experience in two or more functions (64 per cent vs 30 per cent).<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2026were notably more likely to have had experience in operations and supply chain (55 per cent vs 32 per cent).\u201d<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cRegardless of their journey towards sustainability, the sustainability pioneers we studied have a strong personal motivation and purpose.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSustainable leaders are naturally curious; they go beyond a deep understanding of their own organizational system and incorporate the interplay with the larger economic, societal and environmental systems around them to drive change.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSustainable leaders do not manage stakeholders, they include them.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c\u2026they ask why it cannot be done differently.\u201d<\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis is not a matter of hiring a single individual to own sustainability. The systemic challenges the world faces today mean that sustainable leadership cannot be confined to a small minority; it requires companies to cultivate leadership at all levels.\u201d<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ahora que estamos saliendo de la pandemia, y que los inversionistas se centran cada vez m\u00e1s en que las empresas cumplan con s\u00f3lidos objetivos de sostenibilidad, es importante preguntarse c\u00f3mo las organizaciones deben preparar y capacitar a sus equipos directivos para hacer frente a las\u00a0varias\u00a0necesidades de los varios grupos de inter\u00e9s que tienen. Ya sea a trav\u00e9s del equipo directivo, o a trav\u00e9s del consejo de administraci\u00f3n, parece natural que a medida que las empresas ampl\u00eden sus esfuerzos en temas ESG necesiten personas que tengan los conocimientos o la experiencia para asegurarse de que\u00a0esos esfuerzos est\u00e9n bien dirigidos y que sirvan de ejemplo para que el resto del equipo los siga.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Espero que esto te haya parecido interesante.
